I love dinosaurs, using my imagination, and dreaming up fun adventures. I wrote this story because I hope it makes you smile, laugh, and believe that wonderful friendships can begin in the most unexpected places. I can't wait for you to meet Ollie—I hope you enjoy our adventure as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Dear Parents,
When this story was first imagined, Octavia was just five years old.
Like so many children, she was full of questions, ideas, and an imagination that could turn an ordinary afternoon into an unforgettable adventure. Rather than letting those ideas remain drawings on paper or stories told around the house, we decided to show her that her voice mattered.
Together, we transformed her imagination into a real book.
She watched her ideas become illustrations. She helped create something she could proudly hold in her hands. We even assembled the books together and shared them with families in our local community. Along the way, she discovered that stories have the power to bring people together.
This book was intentionally created to be more than a story. It was designed to become an experience you can share with your child. Families are encouraged to print the pages at home, assemble the book together, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something with their own hands. In the process, children can practice fine motor skills, follow directions, and take pride in building a book they helped bring to life.
As you read together, you'll also discover interactive questions woven throughout the story. These moments are meant to spark conversations, encourage critical thinking, and help children connect the adventure to their own lives. We've even left space for creativity by inviting young readers to color many of the illustrations, making each copy as unique as the child who enjoys it.
My hope is that this book inspires more than a love of dinosaurs. I hope it reminds children that their ideas are worth sharing, encourages meaningful conversations about safety, kindness, and friendship, and creates memories your family will treasure long after the last page is turned.
Most importantly, I hope every child who reads this story begins to believe something that every young creator deserves to know:

This story was created to celebrate the kind of love that feels impossible to measure—a love that reaches beyond time, distance, and imagination. It reminds children that even when we can't always be together, they are deeply loved.
